Buying a lot

Items bought at auction are normally those that cannot be purchased elsewhere. Bids may be submitted 24 hours a day, and we’re never further away than your phone or computer. And it couldn’t be easier. If you want to see and touch the items in which you have an interest, you are always welcome to visit our showrooms on Banehagsgatan 20, in Gothenburg.

All our sales take place in partnership with the auction portal at To submit a bid you must first register as a customer. You can do this here. You may then log in at any time, from anywhere in the world and from any smartphone, tablet or computer of your choosing.

When you have logged in, you may start bidding. You can submit as many bids as you wish. If you wish to bid the minimum amount, this is already filled in and you only need to click “Submit bid”. You may also submit a maximum bid, that is, the highest price you are prepared to pay for a particular lot. We will thereby bid automatically on your behalf up to your maximum level, as favourably as possible and in line with a given bidding ladder. If you submit a bid when there is under one minute remaining, the auction is extended by three minutes.

Winning bids

When your bid for a lot is successful you will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to pay your invoice. You will pay the hammer price, a commission in the amount of 25% and a so-called auction fee of SEK 80 (VAT included). Some lots are also subject to a resale right fee of 5%, also known as Droit de Suite. This goes to the artist or designer, or their heirs.

Payment can be made simply and securely at My pages. If you choose to pay by Bankgiro, it will take up to three banking days until we receive your payment. You may also pay by card at the auction house. We do not accept payment by cash.
